Why peace is ELUSIVE

 

John 8:36

King James Version

36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, 

ye shall be free indeed.

Why is there so much trouble in the world?

Why can't there ever be peace?

Why are people not free?

How do we achieve peace?

Can one man do it?

Who can foster peace?

Here are excerpts from articles the HOLY SPIRIT guided me to write.

Simply put, we all need JESUS.

John 15:5

5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: 

He that abideth in me, and I in him, 

the same bringeth forth much fruit: 

for without me ye can do nothing.

Only through JESUS can we have peace.

The lasting peace we all need, and desire so deeply.

The world is contrary to peace.

Simply because it serves CHRIST's enemy.

Thus, this born again workman longs for four particular events --

When the imminent Rapture occurs:

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

16 For the Lord himself 

shall descend from heaven 

with a shout, 

with the voice of the archangel, 

and with the trump of God: 

and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain 

shall be caught up together with them 

in the clouds, 

to meet the Lord in the air: 

and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

When believers return with JESUS:

Revelation 19:14

14 And the armies which were in heaven 

followed him upon white horses, 

clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

When the New Jerusalem comes down from GOD:

Revelation 21:1-5

21 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: 

for the first heaven and the first earth 

were passed away; and there was no more sea.

2 And I John saw the holy city, 

new Jerusalem, 

coming down from God out of heaven, 

prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, 

Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, 

and he will dwell with them, 

and they shall be his people, 

and God himself shall be with them, 

and be their God.

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; 

and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, 

nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: 

for the former things are passed away.

5 And he that sat upon the throne said, 

Behold, I make all things new. 

And he said unto me, Write: 

for these words are true and faithful.

When there are no more criminals:

Revelation 21:22-27

are the temple of it.

and the Lamb is the light thereof.

Don't you wish for those days, too?

Not just for my self.

But for everyone.

Who GOES to HEAVEN?

 

1 Corinthians 2:9

King James Version

9 But as it is written, 

Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, 

neither have entered into the heart of man, 

the things which God hath prepared 

for them that love him.

Yesterday was an especially wonderful day.

Only because the HOLY SPIRIT led me to a wonderful verse.

Wherein we can know for sure who goes to heaven.

This is the verse that warmed my heart:

Matthew 7:21

King James Version

21 Not every one that saith unto me, 

Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; 

but he that doeth the will of my Father 

which is in heaven.

It's as if in one phrase, all have been revealed.

Who goes to heaven?

"he that doeth the will of my Father"

JESUS said that.

And Who better to know the HEART of GOD, and the WILL of the FATHER, than the SON Himself?

He is the WAY back to GOD, after all.

John 14:6

King James Version

6 Jesus saith unto him, 

I am the way, the truth, and the life: 

no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Look what JESUS said, near the end of His earthly life.

This as His eyes looked up to heaven, as He spoke to the FATHER:

John 17:4

4 I have glorified thee on the earth: 

I have finished the work 

which thou gavest me to do.

John 17:6

6 I have manifested thy name 

unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: 

thine they were, and thou gavest them me; 

and they have kept thy word.

the words which thou gavest me; 

and they have received them, 

and have known surely that I came out from thee, 

and they have believed that thou didst send me.

And let's not forget the CROSS.

Wherein JESUS exhibited the following --

PERFECT obedience to GOD, the Father.

PERFECT love for/from GOD, and for us.

PERFECT humility for GOD's will.

Despite the suffering to come upon Him.

To be perfect in His eyes.

But to seek awareness, and repentance.

And to become born again, that we may be instructed by SPIRIT.

Who reminds us all what JESUS taught us.

which is the Holy Ghost, 

whom the Father will send in my name, 

he shall teach you all things, 

and bring all things to your remembrance, 

whatsoever I have said unto you.

Is it really so hard to follow the WILL of GOD?

Not for a true born again.

Not for a true follower of CHRIST.

Not for those who truly LOVE GOD.

We delight in following His laws.

Psalm 119:97

97 O how love I thy law! 

it is my meditation all the day.

John 3:30

30 He must increase, 

but I must decrease.

1 John 5:3

3 For this is the love of God, 

that we keep his commandments: 

and his commandments are not grievous.

You can keep trying to follow your will.

Or the world's will.

But in the end, GOD's will remains.

His laws stand.

His WORD is ALL THERE IS.

Think upon these things:

The ONLY THING that will REMAIN

The ONLY THING you can TRUST

PURE PERFECT PRECISE

FAITHFUL to SCRIPTURE

JESUS set the pattern for obedience to GOD's will.

All we have to do is believe in Him, and follow Him.

That is, if you really care about yourself, and others.

Acts 16:31

9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth

Some REMARKABLE things

 Psalm 100:5

King James Version

5 For the Lord is good; 

his mercy is everlasting; 

and his truth endureth to all generations.

It is truly a remarkable thing.

I, who had not read the Bible before.

Somehow knew a thing, or two.

Saying something profound decades ago.

Even before GOD made me born again.

All come from GOD.

All go back to GOD.

That's Who I felt GOD was.

As SOURCE of everything.

And I felt it, with conviction.

But I had nothing to back it up with.

Just a feeling that it was true.

And now I'm born again, I've got proof.

SPIRIT led me to Scripture.

Another strange thing happened.

I searched online and this particular version came up.

Right on target, too!

Embodying BOTH declarations:

Romans 11:36

Worldwide English (New Testament)

36 All things come from God, 

through God, 

and return to God. 

Praise him for ever! 

Yes, it is so!

Apparently, I was right on both statements.

Even before I knew what being born again meant.

Just missed the "through God" part.

That was the "missing" piece.

Really astounding -- at least, to me.

I needed to be born again, to know that missing part.

Now, for the rest -- 

"All come from GOD."

Psalm 100:3

3 Know ye that the Lord he is God: 

it is he that hath made us, 

and not we ourselves; 

we are his people, 

and the sheep of his pasture.

How could I have known those two statements?

Surely, only through the SPIRIT of GOD.

Which looked down from heaven.

Waiting patiently for me to wake up.

From my sleep, from my stupor, from my sins.

He knew what I was about.

What I was to do.

What He created me for.

Certain it was just a matter of time, and I'd wake up.

Knowing all my research was in my search for the LORD.

He knew I had been searching for ABSOLUTE truth all my life.

Thus, GOD gave me clues.

He gave me frequent prompts.

He knew I'd follow the "trail".

He knew I'd follow through.

He knew I was on to "something".

He knew I was on to Him.

In a good way, of course.

That's why He allowed the process.

No matter the painstaking path I took.

And when was GOD ever wrong?

Keep at it, wherever you are.

Keep at the path of truth.

And you shall find it.

Jeremiah 29:13

13 And ye shall seek me, 

and find me, 

when ye shall search for me 

with all your heart.

And that truth is the LORD JESUS CHRIST.

John 1:17

17 For the law was given by Moses, 

but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

John 14:6

I am the way, the truth, and the life: 

no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

John 17:16-19

When you've come to know JESUS, the struggle stops.

When will JESUS return?

How shall He return?

What happens when He does?

Scripture tells us what we need to know.

Like, when JESUS will come back:
