Isaiah 64:6
King James Version
6 But we are all as an unclean thing,
and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags;
and we all do fade as a leaf;
and our iniquities,
like the wind,
have taken us away.
Do you consider yourself to be righteous?
Why does prophet Isaiah then call our righteousness, as "filthy rags"?
A born again can well understand.
We don't take offense.

"Filthy rags" (flesh and blood) cannot inherit the kingdom of God.
1 Corinthians 15:50
King James Version
50 Now this I say, brethren,
that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God;
neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
We need to be born again.
John 3:3-7
King James Version
3 Jesus answered and said unto him,
Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
Except a man be born again,
he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4 Nicodemus saith unto him,
How can a man be born when he is old?
can he enter the second time into his mother's womb,
and be born?
5 Jesus answered,
Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit,
he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh;
and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Marvel not that I said unto thee,
Ye must be born again.
We need to be "new creatures" in CHRIST.
2 Corinthians 5:17

he is a new creature:
old things are passed away;

all things are become new.
We need to have "new bodies", free of corruption, for the RAPTURE.
1 Corinthians 15:52-54

and the dead shall be raised incorruptible,
and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption,
and this mortal must put on immortality.

then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written,
Death is swallowed up in victory.
Only JESUS can save us from sin, Satan, and ourselves.
John 3:16-17

Acts 4:12
