1 Corinthians 14:33
King James Version
33 For God is not the author of confusion,
but of peace,
as in all churches of the saints.
Do you wish for real peace in this world?
How we all long for real peace!
Where there is love, trust, peace, joy, harmony, and contentment, as we serve the Lord.
That there are no more thoughts of world domination, whether in business, in governments, in beauty, in technology, in culture, in religion, and all serve the same God.
And I think of what Jesus showed His apostle John, in a vision, about the "New Jerusalem":
Revelation 21:1-4 (KJV)
21 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth:
for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away;
and there was no more sea.
2 And I John saw the holy city,
new Jerusalem,
coming down from God out of heaven,
prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying,
Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men,
and he will dwell with them,
and they shall be his people,
and God himself shall be with them,
and be their God.
4 And God shall wipe away
all tears from their eyes;
and there shall be no more death,
neither sorrow,
nor crying,
neither shall there be any more pain:
for the former things are passed away.
Revelation 21:22-26 (KJV)
22 And I saw no temple therein:
for the Lord God Almighty
and the Lamb
are the temple of it.
23 And the city had no need of the sun,
neither of the moon, to shine in it:
for the glory of God did lighten it,
and the Lamb is the light thereof.
24 And the nations of them which are saved
shall walk in the light of it:
and the kings of the earth
do bring their glory and honour into it.
25 And the gates of it
shall not be shut at all by day:
for there shall be no night there.
26 And they shall bring the glory
and honour of the nations into it.
Everyone will be pure of heart.
Revelation 21:27 (KJV)
27 And there shall in no wise enter into it
any thing that defileth,
neither whatsoever worketh abomination,
or maketh a lie:
but they which are written
in the Lamb's book of life.
Continue believing in that New Jerusalem, for it has been prophesied.
Choose to be born again, and believe in Jesus, for He did promise:
Matthew 5:8-9 (KJV)
8 Blessed are the pure in heart:
for they shall see God.
9 Blessed are the peacemakers:
for they shall be called
the children of God.
Let this not be the question Christ will ask of us when He comes back for us:
Luke 18:8 (KJV)
8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily.
Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh,
shall he find faith on the earth?
What other option does the world have, apart from the ONLY choice, which is God?
If the world is a paradise right now, then we chose well.
If it isn't, and it sure isn't, we have erred greatly in our judgement.
But all is not lost.
Jesus did say:
John 6:39-40 (KJV)
39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me,
that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing,
but should raise it up again at the last day.
40 And this is the will of him that sent me,
that every one which seeth the Son,
and believeth on him,
may have everlasting life:
and I will raise him up
at the last day.
So, I watch, and pray.
And I await the Lord's return.
At a day God chooses to.
